All rooms must first be reserved through the College's Special Programs department at 413.559.5610. They will assist you with rooms, set-up and any other additional items you may need.

Sodexho Campus Services does not carry a liquor license to purchase or serve alcoholic beverages at Hampshire College. Therefore, if your event requires alcohol it will be your responsibility to purchase, serve and control the use of alcohol. We can provide phone numbers for those that can assist with alcohol.

Please remember that your event is not limited to this catering guide. You should contact the catering department at Hampshire College to custom design menus for any and all your needs. Again we can be reached at (413) 549-2840 or ext. 5750 on campus.

The catering department requires the following time guidelines to be met so that we can assure the highest quality of food and services for your event. We ask that you do everything to meet these guidelines.

• Full meals and large receptions (Over 50 people) — 5 Business Days
• All breaks, continental breakfasts or smaller receptions — 3 Business Day

A guarantee of the count for your event insures proper production and quality of service. We request that you give us your guarantee number of guests three (3) business days before the date of your event. In the event that more quests attend your event, we will make every effort possible to accommodate them. You will be charged for the guaranteed count or the actual number, whichever is higher.

If your event requires the use of wait staff or you wish to have a wait person present, there will be an additional charge $15.00 per hour for each hour of your event plus an additional 1 ½ hours for set-up and break down.

We do not have a liquor license and thus cannot purchase or sell alcohol at any event. We would be more than happy to serve alcohol at any event, and can provide glassware, mixers, and garnishes for a fee in accordance with our bar service options.
